A key part of our Travelers Promise is taking care of the communities in which we live and work. Each year, Travelers Canada partners with Habitat for Humanity to bring this Promise to life, providing colleagues with the opportunity to participate in “build days” across the country.
In 2024, more than 90 employees took part in eight builds across six cities in Canada. Here’s a look back at what our teams accomplished in 2024.
Since 2010, Travelers has partnered with American Corporate Partners (ACP) to help post-9/11 veterans and military spouses transition to civilian careers. Through one-on-one mentoring and career advice, this partnership has supported over 900 impactful mentorships. Hina Bennett, AVP of Business Transformation at Travelers, is one of the mentors driving change. She oversees transformation projects while coaching veterans to achieve career success. Amanda Grueter’s seven-year journey at Travelers began as an Operations Account Specialist with no prior insurance experience. Now a Lead Operations Account Specialist, she attributes her growth to the company’s training, mentorship, and internal mobility. This role offers opportunities to build a career across diverse insurance lines.
